Hi, I'm Ishan Korde. Product Design Leader at Okta.

I identified that Okta's decade of securing human identity gave it a unique edge to secure AI agents, an opportunity no one was pursuing yet. I partnered with a software architect to validate the idea through a hackathon, built executive momentum, and pitched directly to the CEO to secure funding. I then led the zero-to-one MVP as Design Lead, built a team of six from scratch, and shipped a product that became the keynote for Oktane 2025 and Okta's #1 company priority for 2026.

When Okta acquired a product to solve access requests, I saw an opportunity to go beyond integration. I championed a new architecture and design model that reimagined the experience to meet real customer needs, partnering with PM and Engineering to lead the redesign and define a multi-year strategy. The result shipped and has seen strong adoption across enterprise customers.

Okta's product suite had grown powerful but fragmented. As the design lead from day one, I drove the interaction design and strategy to unify navigation across Okta's first-party apps, coordinating across multiple product teams to deliver a cohesive experience. The result shipped in early 2025 and introduced a modern unified navigation and app switcher used by Okta's global enterprise customer base.
